Our goal in exploring the idea of slow living is to identify where we have become separated from “the hand that feeds us,” so to speak, and to find our way back to a right relationship with the true source of our nurturance.

What does it mean to develop a feeling inventory?
This week in the Slow Living Challenge, the intention is to focus on the feelings and sensations within us and around us. The idea is simple. If we are aware of how we’re feeling in any given moment, to take inventory of what’s swirling around in our hearts and minds, then we might be able to have an understanding of what is contributing to those feelings. Often, it’s something that we can’t do anything about at the moment, or something that doesn’t even merit the distraction that it’s causing us.
