That’s a Wrap for April…On to May!
Fashion Revolution Week, a new planting calendar, and a backyard foraging guide 🌿
Hello all,
It’s been quite a busy month with gatherings and celebrations, lots of gardening, and Fashion Revolution Week.
With the warmer weather and the “greening up” of things at the farm, we’ve welcomed lots of family and friends for spring celebrations. First, a baby shower to welcome a sweet new cousin/niece/grand-niece to our family, then a beautiful Easter Day gathering celebrating the baptism of our now 9 month-old baby/ grand baby!
All the while, the garden has been slowly waking up and unfolding into the new season—and with the arrival or the brand new, long awaited greenhouse we’ve been able level-up our many growing projects. Not only is it incredibly exciting to have more space to start things from seed, but we’re also looking forward to experimenting with plants that need a warmer climate, like citrus and pomegranates for instance. Not that we actually know anything about this—YET— but the thinking and planning for it is SO much fun!
